next door neighbor owner passed away and his brother gave me this salamander that sat in the garage for 12 years, with full tank of kerosene, fired up for the 1st time, if you know the year to this and where can i find a site about this, let me know, this is a 120000 BTU model

Modine 75000btu Unit Heater

We service, clean, repair and install, all makes and models: Carrier, Lennox, Trane, Goodman, York, Bryant, Payne, Armstrong, Heil, Tempstar, Williamson, Luxaire, Whirlpool, American Standard, Dunkirk, Peerless and Utica boilers too. This was quick repair job I just did on a 75000 BTU Modine unit heater for a three car garage. The thermostat wire got broken off of the control box, the line voltage connections inside the box were poorly connected and on top of all that the customer was not aware that they had a wall switch that powers this unit. I found it as I was trying to determine why the control circuit was getting no power. What started out as a simple broken stat wire from banging into the unit with an aluminum ladder, ended up being what we in the trade call a “combination problem.” This just goes to show you that a technician must always go that extra step sometimes to thoroughly check your equipment. Finding those poor connections inside the control box probably saved me another service call. This is one of my repeat customers, who refers a lot of work to me.
